Halloween May Bring Dentures In The Future

Good Tuesday Morning!  I hope that everyone who is able, goes out to vote today.  Unfortunately, I fall under that, "unable" to vote category this year.  I am not registered to vote here in Ohio and I really don't know enough about any of the candidates or much of anything that will be on the ballot.  Perhaps it is not such a bad thing that I am not voting.  I would have felt horrible to vote for the wrong person because I didn't know enough about them.  Another honest fact I will share...I am really not into politics.  It seems to get so dirty and rude.  If only they could sell themselves without completely trashing the opponent.  That is all I have to say.

My main purpose of my post today was to share with you a few pictures from our Halloween.  Emma had lots of fun and scored enough candy to make dentures a possibility in the near future if she didn't brush those pearly whites.  Yeah, I think we will opt for the teeth brushing.  Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween and were able to create some new memories to reflect on while collecting all of that candy.

Thankful Thursday - Snow Days

I am 100% convinced that I must have brought the Michigan weather along with me when I moved south, here to Ohio.  I was under the impression that southern Ohio has a much more mild climate and less snow. Well, I have yet to see proof of this. The idea of less snow really excited me! We have had almost as much snow as back in my hometown!   I would love to see warm and sunny weather every single day.  Perhaps, to experience that type of tranquility, I will need to move to a beautiful Caribbean island and sell hot dogs or ice cream on the beach. This is a thought that passes through my mind no less than five times a day in the winter. Like I mentioned before, January and February are the toughest months for me.  It is almost as if old man winter casts a spell of the nasty blahs and sadness on me.  Some days just tend to be worse than others.  I am seriously considering hibernating next winter. It Happened To Me Again!

I can't believe it happened to me again!  More brown bananas!  I certainly hope this is NOT a sign of things in my life turning bad and rotting.  The funny this is, I do not even eat bananas or things made with bananas very often because they are too sugary.  Yes, they taste good and I enjoy them, they just don't work out with my body being a Type 1. Munchie Mix for Monday

Happy Monday!  I hope that everyone was able to enjoy their weekend before today arrived and a new week is upon us again.  I had great hopes and ideas for starting something like "Motivational Monday" posts to share with you today.  Well, I am very much a planner and do not like when things stray off routine and my day goes a bit differently than originally planned.  This is something that I am trying to be a bit more relaxed about.  Anyway, this morning, I had to head to the local Meijer for some groceries and came home with not only lots of groceries, but also a headache.  Unfortunately, this happens more times than not.  I unloaded the groceries into the kitchen and my headache instantly got worse as I was trying to find places to put them and keep it in an organized and orderly fashion.  I moved into this house just over a month ago and the pantry and cupboards are feeling less than user friendly.  Enough of the explanation of my change of plans.  Here is what I did t
